Request for Proposals for the purchase of 717 Waldo St.

The City of Polk City is requesting proposals (RFP) for the sale of 717 Waldo Street. The proposal acceptable to the City shall at a minimum address those items set out in the Developer Guidelines attached as Exhibit "A" Request for Proposals General Informational. Written propsals for the purchase and redevelopment of said Property must be received by the Office of the City Clerk located in the City Hall, at 112 Third Street, Polk City, Iowa. The Proposals will be considered and reviewed to the degree to which the proposal meets the objectives and requirements as set forth by the City Council, that the Property be sold for not less than the fair market value, that the propsal meets the requirements of the Guidelines, the ability of the developer to commence and complete the residence in an expeditious and timely manner and ambiguity or lack of information in the proposal shall be judged negatively.  The City will accept bids until April 6, 2022, at 5pm.
