Join us for a community discussion on the impact that technology has on our lives. The program will be offered on two different dates: July 25 at 2:00 pm & July 28 at 6:30 pm. The program will be held at the Polk City Community Center. Participants are encouraged to watch the Netflix documentary, The Social Dilemma, prior to attending this program. For interested participants without access to Netflix, a limited number of Netflix gift cards will be available at the library beginning July 1. The July 25 program will include panelists Michael Burgeja, author & ISU journalism professor, and Adriane Sankey Tiedens, a licensed mental heath counselor. This program is funded by a Libraries Transform Communities grant from the American Library Association and the Association of Rural & Small Libraries. Register for the event here.
