Adventure Passes
The Polk City Community Library is excited to participate in the Iowa Libraries Adventure Pass program! We are especially grateful to the Friends of the Library for sponsoring all of the passes and software associated with this programming. Without their financial support, this program would not be available to our patrons. The Adventure Pass CANNOT be used for special ticketed events that are fundraisers for the venue (ex. Night Eyes, Winter Wonderscapes, Noon Year's Eve, etc.).
Blank Park Zoo is open Monday-Friday from 10:00-4:00, Saturday & Sunday from 10:00-5:00.
Des Moines Children's Museum is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, Wednesday 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, and Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Greater Des Moines Botanical Center is open Tuesday-Sunday from 10:00-5:00.
Iowa Arboretum & Gardens is open Weekdays 9:00-4:00. Saturdays & Sundays 10:00-4:00 (April-October)
Reiman Gardens is open 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (10:00 am-4:00 pm for Butterfly Wing).
The Science Center of Iowa Thursday-Sunday 9:00 am-4:00 pm.
