Polk City Voting Location:

Precinct 1: Lakeside Fellowship Church, 1121 W Bridge  Polk City, IA 50226

Precinct 2 :United Methodist Church, 1421 W Broadway  Polk City, IA 50226

Poll Hours:

 Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. 
 

Election Schedule:

1st Tuesday after the 1st Monday in November even-numbered years.

Primary - 1st Tuesday after the 1st Monday in June even-numbered years.
Municipal - 1st Tuesday after the 1st Monday in November odd-numbered years.
School Board - 2nd Tuesday in September of each year.

Voting Registration:

Your registration card shows your precinct name and the location of your polling place, however, you do not need the card to be able to vote.

Election Day Registration - You may also register to vote on Election Day at your polling place, for more information on this process please visit the Secretary of State website.

Use the online form at the Iowa General Assembly website to look up your Federal and State Representives by address or 9-digit zipcode.

Sample Equipment: Sample ballots and voting equipment are available for demonstration at the Polk County Election Office. Ask any associate of the office to show you how to mark and deposit your ballot.
