CIWW Stage II Water Alert

Central Iowa Water Works (CIWW) is easing restrictions from a Stage III Mandatory Lawn Water Ban to a Stage II Water Alert effective immediately for residential customers. Residents are asked to follow the Even/Odd Watering Schedule. Commercial and Government Customers will be phased in as conditions allow.

• Even/Odd Lawn Watering Schedule
• No lawn watering on Monday
• Addresses ending in an even number: Water on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday
• Addresses ending in an odd number: Water on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday

Thank you to everyone who helped conserve water and helped us reach this stage. We are now asking residents to reduce outdoor water use by 50 percent. CIWW will issue guidance for businesses and government entities after the holiday weekend.

While conditions have improved, water quality remains a challenge, and we ask that you continue conserving water whenever possible.
