Regional Park Project

Concept development for this project began January 2021.  Key stakeholders (Polk City Parks & Recreation, Polk City Public Works, Polk City Little League, North Polk United Soccer Club, Polk City Park Commission, North Polk Community School District) created a master plan with the assistance of CONFLUENCE (view HERE).  The next step was a feasibility study conducted by RGI (view HERE).  A feasibility study answers the question “what and how will Polk City support?”  Through a series of small group and 1 on 1 meetings the project amount, support, and concept became clear. The Regional Park concept seen today is the product of valuable input by Polk City.
